Our Mamma’s Pizza Yonge Street location has some excellent pastas for you to enjoy. We think it’s only fitting that you get a good selection of these dishes. After all, what would an Italian restaurant be without traditional Italian entrées?
The downtown Toronto clients that come in to see us are impressed. Authentic is the word they use and of course delicious to describe our food. Customers who order the spaghetti sautéed with olive oil and parsley tell us they enjoy the complimentary garlic bread that’s included.
Keep in mind that you can add little extras to your meal. Some of our downtown Toronto customers love to add a little rose sauce to any pasta they order. Other people ask about the rigatoni we have here at Mama’s Pizza on Yonge Street. We are always happy to tell them this is cooked in a plum tomato sauce and topped off with the best melted cheese. This delicious entrée is served with two pieces of fresh garlic bread.

Our Yonge Street location has a whole variety of different specialty pizzas you will not want to miss. Our clients rave about the house specialty meats pizzas that are made fresh daily. These include the brand-new Mammas Barbecue Chicken and Bacon Cheddar Melt.
This one includes a delicious seasoned barbecue chicken breast as well as cheddar and bacon. All of the other specialty pizzas we have on our menu are made fresh daily too. Everything we do here is made with old world tradition.
International Choices
There are even some international choices. Take a few minutes to read about Mamma’s Thai Pizza that has sweet chili sauce and a marinated chicken breast. The Hawaiian pizza that we have on our menu comes complete with pineapple and ham.
Mamma’s Pizza started way back in 1957. Lidia Danesi came to Toronto and brought old world recipes from a hilltop village. The rest, as they say, is history. In the early years, Lidia was seen preparing pizza in the window of one of the first Mamma’s Pizzas.
