Here at Mamma’s Pizza, we’re pretty sure if you asked people to vote for their favourite food pizza would win hands down. In fact, we even found a news story that proves our point.
There is a list of citizen’s groups in Massachusetts with some of the names you might expect like Latino Vote Party and the Rainbow Coalition. However, there’s one big exception.
Josh Freeman is a citizen in that state who has collected 120 signatures to form The Pizza Party. That’s the good news. On the other side of the coin is the fact he didn’t collect the number of registered voters needed to take The Pizza Party to official party status.
In the end, we don’t think it matters all that much to him. When we read the story we realized that he had collected the signatures for his new party at bars and restaurants in Massachusetts. Not a bad way to go about creating a new political movement we think.
We were hoping to find out what it was about pizza that started the movement. However, at Mamma’s Pizza, we’d like to guess that the kind of fresh ingredients we use had something to do with it.
